A Pair Of 19th Century Qing dynasty Chinese Canton Famille Rose Porcelain Vases. The bodies of the vases are painted in panels bordered with elaborate green decoration, depicting birds, butterflies, flowers and people. Each vase also has applied gilt fo dogs as handles. This pair of vases are very decorative, of a good displayable size and perfectly capture the awe and inspiration of the east.

Height: 46cm

Diameter: 20cm

 

Condition

Generally in good displayable condition with minimal wear to decoration. One vase has a small 8cm hairline crack running in the rim and the other has a couple of hairline cracks running in the base, one of which runs 2cm in to the rear side of the vase and approximately 8cm along. None of these effect the structural integrity of the vases and are only visible upon close inspection.
